The Hong Kong Island Paddling Club is proud to announce that the 11th Deep Water Bay Dragon Boat Races on 9th May 2010 was the first Carbon Neutral dragon boat race in the world. With the innovative partnership of Carbon Care Asia, a low carbon solutions specialist, this event was also Hong Kong's first carbon neutral sports event. How do we do it?

Directions to Hong Kong Island Paddle Club

Located in the heart of Deep Water Bay at the Victoria Recreation Club (VRC). The VRC is at the West end of Deep Water Bay beach

Getting to the VRC by Public Transport :

260 Express - This bus runs from Exchange Square, Central to Stanley and back.

6X - This bus runs from Exhange Square, Central to Stanley and back.

6A - This is a Special Service bus running Mon-Sat during peak hours from Exchange Square, Central to Stanley and back.

73 - This bus runs from Cyberport/Wah Fu (North) to Stanley and back.

65 - This bus runs from North Point to Stanley (via Morrison Hill) and back.

973 - This bus runs from Tsim Sha Tsui (East) to Stanley (via Aberdeen & Pok Fu Lam) and back.

40 Green Mini Bus - This mini bus runs from Causeway Bay to Stanley and back.

52 Green Mini Bus - This mini bus runs from Aberdeen to Stanley and back.
